About us
A new chapter at Hajo’s Lodge & Spa began in October 2026. We are René and Manuela, a married couple from Switzerland who followed a calling from God to South Africa.
Taking over Hajo’s Lodge & Spa marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in our lives. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue the wonderful story of this special place and to welcome guests from all over the world.
Our wish is simple: to create a place where people feel welcome, comfortable and at home. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, we provide a comfortable and convenient base to explore the beauty and diversity of Cape Town.

Comfortable accommodation
Nine non-smoking rooms across two adjoining properties offer three distinct ways to stay, from garden-connected Superior and Deluxe rooms to convenient Classic rooms in the main house.
Relax
In-House Spa
Relieve tension, improve flexibility and support recovery with your choice of Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage or Deep Tissue Massage. Swedish massage offers gentle relaxation for stress relief, Hot Stone massage combines heat and light pressure, and Deep Tissue massage works on deeper muscle layers to ease stronger tension.
Sessions last 30, 60 or 90 minutes with Abongile. For a 30-minute session, please specify the body area you would like treated. You’ll stay covered with a sheet, with only the area being treated uncovered.
