This tour is recommended if you have only very limited
time in Cape Town - it offers a combination of the
highlights of the Cape
Peninsula and the Winelands tours to give you at least some idea of the beautiful
Cape.
In the morning we pick you
up at your accommodation in Cape Town and take you
along the Atlantic coast via Camps Bay to Hout Bay.
From Hout Bay we drive along one of the most spectacular
coastal roads of the world, the famous Chapmans Peak
Drive to Noordhoek and Kommetjie along the Atlantic
coast to Cape Point.
A few minutes before reaching Cape Point we will
visit an ostrich farm, having a short tour to get
to know more about the biggest birds on earth.
A short drive from the ostrich
farm takes us into Cape Point Nature Reserve and to
the Cape
of Good Hope. After a short stop for taking
pictures at this southwestern most point of Africa
we take you up to Cape Point. You have the choice to
walk up to the lighthouse or you use the funicular.
For sure you will never forget the fantastic views
from up there!
We leave the Nature Reserve and follow the coastline
of False Bay to Boulders to view the penguins and
then continue via Simonstown and Muizenberg to Stellenbosch,
following the coast of False Bay.
In Stellenbosch we do a
tour of the old part of town with lots of national
monuments and drive through the University
of Stellenbosch, which is one of the leading universities
on the African continent. Going up Helshoogte Pass
we continue to the wine region of Paarl, where we will
have a wine and cheese tasting.
After the tasting we will take you back to your accommodation
in Cape Town.
